Since moving to Jackson Hole in 2002, my art has become focused on the landscape around me. I am developing a visual vocabulary by drawing from nature and then using my drawings as a basis for exploring themes in painting and printmaking. I have been studying a variety of subjects around me such as “Western” architecture, tourists, trailer parks, downtown streets and alleys, and how these man-made things co-exist with the surrounding natural landscapes.
